NHL Insider Reveals Patrick Kane Could be Headed to the Philadelphia Flyers Divisional Rival; The Rangers
If you would of told me one day The Chicago Blackhawks where going to try to trade both Johnathan Toews, and Patrick Kane I would of called you crazy.
The dynamic duo are arguably two of the greatest Chicago Blackhawks players off all time, winning three Stanley Cups together. Unfortunately for Blackhawks fans that's indeed the case as Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson has been working the phones trying to make the best move for the Blackhawks.
The biggest issue is salary Davidson is obviously going to have to retain some to make any day happen. Hockey Insider Frank Seravali would share the latest on The Daily Faceoff saying:
''Kane is still interested in seeing how the season begins before evaluating whether or not he'll accept a trade from the only franchise he's ever known. This situation seems to parallel that of Claude Giroux very closely.
One thing that Seravelli did reveal that hadn't previously been mentioned was that Kane reportedly has 3 preferred destinations.
''On @DailyFaceoff today, @frank_seravalli says his reporting on possible Patrick Kane trades remains the same since July. Kane would prefer to wait until the season begins before making a decision on whether to accept a trade out of #Blackhawks or not. Mentions EDM, NYR, & TOR.''
