It's been a very rough time in the VHL a Hockey League in Russia. After a second player suffers a serious injury.
A promising young Detroit Red Wings prospect named Dmitri Buchelnikov a second round pick by the Wings was nailed by Roman Chemerkin coming across center ice and was in need of some assistance by the team's medical trainer.
This comes just days after another player named Yegor Bryzgalov had to be taken to hospital after getting blindsided with a big hit.
