The Philadelphia Flyers are one of the worst teams in the NHL yet again this season. The bright side of this is the Flyers will get a very good draft pick.
Despite everyone hoping to draft 17 year-old hockey phenom Connor Bedard, the Flyers unfortunately won't be the team that will end up drafting him because of the Chicago Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks, and Arizona Coyotes being much worse.
Let's assume they stay at No. 9 and the draft lottery doesn't change their position. Well, the Flyers would have a 5% chance of landing Bedard, but someone else interesting is on the radar.
Based on by draft expert Russ Cohen of SiriusXM NHL Radio, if the Flyers finish at No. 9, the three players at or next to that spot are speedy center/left winger Oliver Moore (No. 8), defenseman Axel Sandin-Pellikka (No. 9), and left winger Andrew Cristall (No. 10).
