NHL Reveals a Emotional Documentary Surrounding Eddie Olczyk's Cancer and it will leave you in tears

We don't need to tell you how well regarded Eddie Olczyk is in Chicago; from his time in the broadcast booth to his five years spent playing for the team, Olczyk will always be remembered as a terrific man.

Then there was Pat Foley, who worked so well with Eddie Olczyk in the Blackhawks broadcast booth for many seasons until Foley announced his retirement this season. Regrettably, the Blackhawks and Olczyk were unable to come to terms on a new deal. Truly, the Blackhawks broadcasts have changed.
Strong and resilient, Eddie Olczyk overcame colon cancer.
Olczyk remarked, "I was terrified, but I wasn't worried. "I didn't want to die, but as the conflict continued, I (finally) felt extremely at peace. Sincerly, it was alright for me while I was going through it. I'm at ease because I know how I'm going to handle whatever that does occur. You've spent 51 years on this planet and have done a lot, if they came to me and said it's time. I would be OK if they informed me that it was my time. I believe it was beneficial.

The most significant individuals in my life have always been aware of my feelings toward them. That always bothered me a lot. God forbid, you know what you mean to me, I pleaded with them. If something were to happen, you would have made my life whole.
As it is Hockey Fights Cancer Month in the NHL, Eddie's new team, the Seattle Kraken, decided to create a touching video tribute to Eddie where he was honoured during this much-appreciated month. These words undoubtedly brought a tear to my eye personally.
