The Sabres vs. Blue Jackets game in Columbus was cancelled on Tuesday night due to the winter storm that is working its way through the Buffalo area.

There is currently a driving ban, which forces the Sabres to cancel their practice. With the driving ban in effect, the Red Wings, who are supposed to play in Buffalo on Thursday, are not able to travel at the current moment. This makes it very likely that the game will be postponed.
The storm has been hitting the Buffalo area hard. Just check out the scene the Buffalo Bills' players came back to after their game this weekend:
According to The Hockey Feed, "more changes could come as the Sabres also play at the Boston Bruins on New Year's Eve to begin a three-game road trip. The Sabres game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Dec. 23 at KeyBank Center in Buffalo was postponed and rescheduled for March 4. Buffalo's game against the Philadelphia Flyers originally scheduled for March 4 now will be played Jan. 9."
