NHL insider Elliotte Friedman is one of the most respected and best analysts to represent the NHL and the game of hockey. As trade deadline talk heats up and we are officially one month (and seven days) from the deadline, Friedman gave an interesting omen about the Flyers plans last night on NHL Tonight that has Flyers fans minds buzzing.

The Flyers have been in the news with trade talks, especially with names like Sean Walker and Nick Seeler that could greatly impact a team competing for a Stanley Cup run. When asked about the Flyers, Friedman and Kevin Weekes threw out a possible name for the Flyers that fans are very much familiar with.
The first point Friedman made is that the Flyers are going to continue to try and lock guys up that the view as key contributors in the future, like they did with Owen Tippett and Ryan Poehling. Names like Travis Konecny and Nick Seeler are ones that Friedman thinks are next in line for an extension with the Flyers.

"I think what you're gonna see them do is, I think they're gonna try to sign Nick Seeler. And I think, like, I lean to that one's gonna happen. I also think guys, they're going to take a run and extending Travis Konecny. I, I do think they want to keep them and I do think they're going to take a run at it."

Another name thrown out there was none other than former Flyers captain and legend Claude Giroux. Could there really be an option for a reunion? Friedman gave an interesting answer to that question.
"I'll tell you that's a good scoop Weekesy. If that happens, because I had not heard that one. You beat me to that one I gotta say. I, like I haven't heard Giroux with Philly, but this is what I think is gonna go on there."
