The Philadelphia Flyers are on a lengthy road trip which contains a back-to-back game, John Tortorella, the Flyers head coach, never likes to play one goaltender on back to back nights so we will see Carter Hart and Felix Sandstrom each get a game.
But that's not the case, sadly, Flyers goaltender Felix Sandstrom is absent from the teams practice, and upcoming road trip due to an illness which has not been specified.
The road trip starts off today in Toronto @2PM EST, and continues tomorrow against the Carolina Hurricanes where a new face in goal will make his NHL debut.
In other news, the Flyers have called up Samuel Ersson, who will make his NHL debut this weekend as the Flyers have a back-to-back game scenario. Ersson is 23 years of age and has showed great potential with the Flyers this preseason, some even thought he was more deserving of the Flyers backup position over Felix Sandstrom.
We with a speedy recovery to Sandstrom, and best of luck to Ersson in his upcoming potential NHL debut.
