With Carter Hart and Samuel Ersson anchoring the Flyers behind the net, it seems that the goalie position is one of strength and doesn't need to be changed at least for the 2023-24 season. However, the Flyers may have a plethora of riches with one of their picks from the 2023 NHL Draft as one of their goalie prospects is absolutely dominating in Russia.

2023 third round pick Yegor Zavragin has been dominating Russia in the VHL at just 18-years old. Zavragin is currently with Yugra and has been their anchor behind the net.
Zavragin is currently perfect on the year with a 10-0 record with a 1.12 GAA and a .957 save percentage on the year. Zavargin was also named VHL Rookie of the Week during the last week of December.
Being drafted at just 17-years-old, Zavargin has a few years of development under his belt as he starts in the VHL. It is expected for his next step to be in the KHL, where top prospect Matvei Michkov is currently dominating. It will be some time before Flyers fans see Zavargin in the orange and black, but the young phenom has been lighting it up thus far.
