As the Philadelphia Flyers start gaining recognition and exceeding expectations, it's quick to lose players in the mix. From the 2024 NHL All-Star selection of Travis Konecny who leads the NHL in shorthanded goals to the dynamic goalie duo of Carter Hart and Samuel Ersson, the Flyers have many players deserving recognition.

One Flyer, however, has been a consistent offensive weapon this season and has quietly been a superstar in the making. 23-year-old left wing Joel Farabee has had an incredible start to the season, as he sits with 33 points on 14 goals and 19 assists.
Farabee has four points in his last three games, including a two goal performance in an overtime win on the road in Minnesota. Another interesting point to note is that Farabee is top five in the NHL in points on five-on-five action this season.

Seeing his name in front of guys like Zach Hyman and Jake Guentzel and creeping up on the same numbers as Nikita Kucherov and Connor McDavid is an impressive feat for someone who wasn't named to the 2024 NHL All-Star team.
Farabee has shown heart, hustle and sacrifice on the ice for the Flyers this season, making plays at both the offensive and defensive ends. The coaching style of John Tortorella has rubbed off on Farabee as Farabee is constantly laying out and putting his body on the line for the team.
"I'm not really thinking too much out there. I'm just kind of going out there and playing and I find that's when I play my best hockey."
