For the former 2017 number two overall pick Nolan Patrick, the past few years have been tough. From battles with injuries to migraines and concussions, the young star has been forced to step away from the game, for now, at just 25 years old.

On Saturday night, the Flyers came to Patrick's hometown of Winnipeg to take on the NHL-leading Jets. As the Flyers came away with a dominant 2-0 victory sparked by the 35 save performance of goalie Samuel Ersson, Patrick was able to reunite with his former teammates in Winnipeg.
Patrick was able to catch up with the team where his NHL career started, most notably reuniting with 2024 NHL All-Star Travis Konecny, who has been someone who has been a big piece in Patrick's life.

Are the Flyers interested again? Is Patrick getting physical treatment and rehab with the Flyers? Or was he just enjoying an NHL battle in his hometown? The theories were flying on Saturday night.
