No Captain for the Flyers This Season?
Since the trade of former Flyer and captain Claude Giroux, the fans have wondered when the decision was going to come of who would be the next captain of the team. Realistically, do they even need a captain this season?
We watched the New York Rangers recently name their new captain after a few years, when the team was emerging as one of the best in the league. Right place, Right time I would say.

The leadership just is not there and has shown that it is not there. What's the rush, really? Go a season or two and see who emerges as your leader and who can stay healthy enough to be named a captain.
