No Update on Cutter Gauthier's Pro Future
With the NCAA season nearing its end, there are some prospects who have big decisions to make. They can stay in college, finish the season at the pro level, or they can leave college but just go straight into the offseason.
One of the guys who has a decision to make is
Cutter Gauthier. He has been tearing it up at Boston College this year and he is quickly becoming a rising star for the Flyers.
He is leading his team in goals and points, even after taking a break from the team to play for USA at the WJC.
Some people were hoping to see Gauthier make his appearance in the NHL at the end of this season, but GM Brent Flahr is not making any promises that Gauthier will leave college.

Sure, Gauthier probably wants to go pro, but it might be in his best interest to stay in college and continue to develop while being the best on his team. It might just be the right thing to keep him as the big fish in a small pond, rather than throwing him into the ocean.
Once the NCAA season concludes, we should have a better idea of what Gauthier and the Flyers are going to do.
