Oliver Bonk, the Philadelphia Flyers' first-round pick in 2023, has been officially signed to a three-year entry-level contract.

Oliver Bonk's new agreement, which will not take effect until he goes professional and plays in the AHL or NHL. According to Cap Friendly, his contract runs over three years and carries a $950,000 cap hit. However, his deal is worth $2.5 million.
In-depth analysis of Oliver Bonk's new contract indicates that there are currently no performance bonuses, although there is a $95K signing bonus. The upside of signing Bonk now is that the Flyers retain his rights, while the three-year contract won't take effect until he dons a Flyers or Phantoms jersey.

Oliver Bonk appeared in 67 games during the course of his draft year, netting 10 goals and providing 30 assists, totaling an even 40 points. Bonk is a powerful two-way defenseman due to his quick release, as well as his ability to use his stick effectively on the back end. Soon enough, he will be sporting orange and black.
