Ottawa Senators Fans Feeling Disrespected By The Athletic

The Ottawa Senators have been quietly rebuilding themselves into a team that's going to surprise alot of people this season. With all talent the Senators have put together through the draft and then the additions of Alex DeBrincat and Claude Giroux.
The Ottawa Senators are going to look far different than the squad of last season who missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the 5th straight season.
However, it seems no matter what the Senators do they never get respected. The Athletic revealed their 32 rankings for off-season additions.
The Detroit Redwings ranked number one with the Florida Panthers taking the thirty second spot. As for the Ottawa Senators they took number five.
Senators fans felt disrespected by the Athletic feeling they should be higher on this list. With the moves they made they have a valid point, not very often does a team get to acquire a 40 goal player like Alex DeBrincat.
