Last offseason will certainly go down in NHL history as one of the most talked about summers for years to come. There certainly wasn't a shortage of fireworks regarding player movement and with the events in Calgary it certainly made people turn their head.
Matthew Tkachuk, the promising superstar center, decided to leave the Flames organization once his contract expired next season. He was traded to the Florida Panthers where he has found exceptional success holding after 19 games played nine goals, 18 assists for 27 points.
As Tkachuck continues to excel, he hasn't changed his ways when playing his former cross province rival in the Edmonton Oilers.
Having been traded to the Eastern Conference, he will not see the Oilers as often so he's enjoying the moment while he can.
