The Flyers organization managed to deepen its talent pool after the completion of the 2023 NHL draft. As the organization continues to restock its roster, several players who have been on the team's radar are now poised to become Flyers within the next two years.

One particular prospect, Emil Andrae, who was selected in the second round, 54th overall, in the 2020 NHL draft, seems ready to leap the NHL. Assistant General Manager Brent Flair, who has been instrumental in overseeing the development of Flyers prospects, has made this assessment.
Andrae, a 21-year-old defenseman standing at 5'9" and weighing 181 pounds, has been playing for the HV71 team in the Swedish Hockey League for several years. In 51 games last season, he scored six goals, recorded 20 assists, and accumulated 26 points, along with 67 penalty minutes.

He also played ten games for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, where he scored two goals, had four assists, and earned six points and six penalty minutes.
According to eliteprospects.com, Andrae exhibits a high work rate and excels in winning puck battles. He will certainly be at camp this year, aiming to earn a roster spot, and I believe he will succeed.
