The IIHF organizes the Men's World Hockey Championships annually, with this year's tournament scheduled to take place in Tampere, Finland from May 12th to May 28th, 2023.
Team Canada's lineup for the championships is currently being discussed and several names have been mentioned.
In the upcoming championships, numerous players from the Calgary Flames team will be participating. However, there is also a representative from the Philadelphia Flyers team named Scott Laughton, who will be playing for Team Canada.

Unfortunately, his fellow teammates Travis Konecny and Owen Tippett have declined the invitation to join the championships.
Laughton had an impressive performance in the NHL, achieving 43 points in 82 games with new head coach John Tortorella.
As an Ontario native, Laughton is experienced in international play, having served as the Captain of the U20 Team Canada roster in 2013.
