The Philadelphia Flyers traded away Justin Braun last season to the New York Rangers in exchange for a third-round draft pick, in hopes to give Braun some playoff experience. That did not work out too well and the Rangers did not go very far, Justin Braun would end up re-signing with the Philadelphia Flyers in the off-season.
Since, Braun has tallied up 35-games played and has earned himself a whopping 0 points totalled, he is still in search for his 1st point of the year. Braun isn't offensive, so his non-existent point total is not concerning.
Braun is not available to provide offense, but defense, as he has contributed to the very little success the Flyers penalty kill has produced this season. With 800 NHL games underneath his belt he will surely be a cheap right-handed defense pickup, at a costly price for a contending team.
