Philadelphia Flyers MVP Endures Injury Scare
Owen Tippett has recently been granted the most ice time on the John Tortorella coached Flyers team, and there is no reason as to why he shouldn't have that role. Tippett has since taken the Philadelphia Flyers top line, and powerplay role of Travis Konecny, since he went down with an injury two weeks ago, against the Calgary Flames.
It is not just the Flyers organization and fans noticing Tippett, but the NHL as a whole is, for speedy plays like this:
Unfortuntely for Tippett, he went down hard after taking a shot directly to the side of his foot, it did not look the best but thankfully he came back, Noah Cates, a young Flyers forward commented on it:
