Wade Allison, a forward who won a spot on head coach John Tortorella's roster right out of training camp, figures to be one of the Philadelphia Flyers' future building blocks. Allison, 25, seemed to sustain a severe injury during Saturday's loss to the Ottawa Senators, which was unfortunate for the Flyers and Allison. After colliding with Ottawa's Jacob Bernard-Docker after a hit, Allison went to the ice, needed help getting off, and left the game.
Flyers reporters stated it was not serious, but that questioned when the young forward was not at morning skate, practice or ready for game time yesterday.
The Flyers have placed Wade Allison on injury reserve, where he will join Sean Couturier, Cam Atkinson and many others that have a ''unknown'' expected return date.
