The Edmonton Oilers are looking to part ways with Kailer Yamamoto, and the Philadelphia Flyers are reportedly considering acquiring him, according to The Fourth Period.
The Flyers, currently in a rebuild, may seem an unlikely fit for the forward, but the Oilers might need to sweeten the deal by including an asset. Yamamoto struggled with the Oilers and a change of scenery could benefit him.
In the 2022-23 season, he recorded 10 goals and 25 points in 59 games. As the offseason progresses, it wouldn't be surprising if the Flyers make a stronger push for Yamamoto.
