Philadelphia Flyers prospect Elliot Desnoyers suffered an injury during development camp, as reported by Charlie O'Connor of The Athletic. Desnoyers collided hard with the boards during a battle drill with a teammate, causing him to be unable to put weight on his right leg. Fortunately, it seems he has avoided a serious injury. Desnoyers, a fifth-round pick in 2020, had an impressive first professional season in the AHL with 23 goals and 21 assists in 65 games for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Although he went scoreless in four games with the Flyers, his offensive development is promising for the team.
