Pierre LeBrun gave a BIG update on the Avalanche and Claude Giroux

The Avalanche made a huge move late this afternoon by acquiring defenseman Josh Manson from the Anaheim Ducks. The prospect going to Anaheim was Drew Hellesson, who has been linked multiple times to the Flyers.
Some people thought that this move was basically indicating that the Avs were out of the Giroux sweepstakes, but according to TSN insider Pierre LeBrun, Joe Sakic is not done...
"My sense is the Colorado Avalanche don't intend to be done. They still hope to further improve the roster. Believe they're still interested in Claude Giroux among other forwards," said LeBrun on Twitter.
Thus, the Avalanche still has pieces that could interest the Flyers. For example, prospect Justin Barron is one of them. They also have their first round pick in 2023 - which is said to be a way better draft than this year's.
