Player Handed Unsportsmanlike Penalty After Striking Referee With Puck
The Colorado Avalanche were leading 2-0 in a game against the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday night until a quick turn of events took place for the Avalanche.
Andrew Cogliano smoked the referee with the puck and unfortunately it struck the official right in the ribs, and he felt it all. The Canucks proceeded to score, Cogliano would make a few chirps and the ref had enough of it, Cogliano was handed an unsportsmanlike penalty.

The Canucks would then score to get back into the game, and then proceeded to score 3 more goals to win the game by a score of 4-2.
