Player violently two-handed slashed his opponents neck and went into rage mode
A player kicked a referee with his skate, another player violently swung his stick in the direction of the referee and received a suspension, and now there has been another "sticky" incident where a player is likely to receive�a suspension. It appears that many "hot heads" are on the loose in various leagues, especially the KHL and within foreign teams.
On Tuesday, a Russian player by the name of Alexander Kosterev attempted a lumberjack swing on the throat of an opponent after being dragged down to the ice, which was another serious stick infraction.
The player just responded out of rage when he stood up after being knocked down by a trip, but in a very inappropriate manner.
Along with receiving a five-minute major penalty, Alexander Kosterev was dismissed from the game.
