REPORT: Chuck Fletcher Announces a Signing
General Manager Chuck Fletcher announced Saturday that the Flyers have signed 19-year-old defenseman Ethan Samson to an entry-level contract. Samson is 6' 1» weighing in at 180 pounds.
Samson was drafted in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, 6th round 174th pick overall. Samson was born in Delta BC on August 23rd, 2003. He played for the Delta Hockey Academy and the WHL's team the Prince George Cougars.
Samson is known for his two-way play with his physicality and his ability to skate along with his defensive-minded game.
