Philadelphia Flyers forward Wade Allison has had many scares out of his early NHL career, the 25 year old suffered a serious wrist injury before his time in the NHL kicked off and after fully recovering this off-season, he has endured another one after just fourteen games.
Allison commented on the injury the other day and said the following, reported by Jordan Hall, NBC Sports.
"I was like, 'Holy s---, what the hell is going on?'" Allison said with a laugh Monday. "It turned out to be better than I thought. We're good."
After missing over fifteen games and five weeks time Allison has been cleared to play and will be returning to tonights lineup against the Columbus Blue Jackets at 7PM.

Allison commented further on his recovery throughout this past week:
"Probably this past week here, I've been able to get out and actually work on some stuff, compete out there fully," Allison said. "So I can get back to my cardio and that mental belief. Each day I feel a little bit better. This last week here has been real big for me."
With the Flyers missing Coots, Cam Atkinson and many others Allison will be an amazing boost in his return.
