The forthcoming "Snow storm Elliott" in North America is expected to cause a significant number of games to be postponed, hence the NHL is preparing for this. The storm will bring strong gusts, a lot of snow, and freezing rain to Canada and the US.
According to NHL insider Frank Seravalli, the Sabres and Tampa Bay game are likely going to be the first to be postponed. However, other games, including those between the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks and the Philadelphia Flyers and Carolina Hurricanes, may also be moved back up.
