An unexpected start for the San Jose Sharks with only 23 points in 30 games.
Rumors have been lurking around the Sharks, including the defenseman Erik Karlsson. Timo Meier could also be a big name ending up on the trade market.
Last year Meier had 76 points, 35 goals in 77 games and is currently in his final year of his contract, which will attract teams that don't want to impact their payroll for a long duration.
Meier stands at a triple win and will definitely have eyes on deck. The curiouslty remains to see what the Sharks will ask for in return, but it will be an expensive trade to say the least.
