The Dallas Stars were among many teams that were looking for a new head coach. The good news for them is that there were a LOT of options available on the market, and it seems like they have made their decision.

According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Stars will soon name Peter DeBoer as their new head coach. He was fired by the Vegas Golden Knights in the month of May.

Let's remind that DeBoer was among the finalists for the Flyers' head coaching job.

However, the announcement is not for now as both sides are still working to find an agreement on DeBoer's contract.
