The Florida Panthers seemed to be unbeatable during the regular season. They finished with a 51-18-6 record, and won their first President's Trophy in the history of the team.
However, they got swept in the second round of the Playoffs by the Tampa Bay Lightning, and it seems like the management want to make some big changes ahead of next season.
They already fired two of their assistant coaches, and things could continue in this direction. According to Frank Seravalli, interim head coach Andrew Brunette could be replaced behind the bench.
"Hearing #FlaPanthers have been active interviewing head coach candidates, including Pete DeBoer, Travis Green, Rick Tocchet, Barry Trotz and potentially Paul Maurice," wrote Seravalli.
