Flyers hopeful goaltender Samuel Ersson has shown the Flyers management that he can play at an NHL level. During his short time in the NHL, this season he has played ten games and has gone 6-1-0. Today he was loaned back to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
He was expected to start tonight against the Hershey Bears. Recent rumours that the Flyers may be going in a different direction with their goaltending and possibly putting their number one goaltender Carter Hart on the trade market after the season is done, have given Ersson further looks as he might be considered the replacement goaltender.

The Flyers currently have three goaltenders in their ranks and will need to decide on who will be leading the team into this rebuilding phase.
The Flyers will be playing at home against the Sabres on Friday, March 17th game time will be at 7:00 PM eastern
