REPORT: Two Players Hit The Waiver Wire Today - Will They Be Claimed?
The trade deadline for the NHL is swiftly approaching-by March 3rd, I mean soon! Due to the fact that trade offers cannot be made after March 3rd, teams are tightening up their rosters�and deciding who will remain with them for the remainder of the season.
Today, January 22, two players have been put on waivers, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportnet. Dryden Hunt of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Anton Blidh of the Colorado Avalanche have both been released from their organizations�and are now available until 2PM tomorrow.
Hunt has gone on and off waivers many times this season without being claimed. He has previously played for the Rangers, Leafs, and Avalanche.
Blidh has been a reliable option for the Avalanche throughout their injury slump, yet in the thirteen games he played for the team, he recorded a whopping 0 points.
