Rangers GM Chris Drury Re-signs One Of Their Top Young Players

The New York Rangers made re-signed one of their young guns today as Ranger President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the team has re-signed Kaapo Kakko.

TSN revealed Drury signed Kakko to a two year $4,200,000 million dollar contract extension with a annual salary of $2,100,000.
Kakko was selected by the Rangers second overall in the 2019 NHL draft. The 21 year old Finnish forward has already played in 157 career games with the Rangers scoring 26 goals, and 32 assists for a career total of 58 points.
