A seventeen-year-old boy named Alexander Cherenkov was hurt by a Russian official, who has now been suspended for the remainder of the 2022�23 season. Parents were furious because the referee was shown on tape slew-footing the seventeen-year-old Cherenkov, causing his head to crash into the ice.
