Several trade rumors have mentioned the former Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn this season. A defenseman with a stay-at-home style is in high demand by some teams currently looking to make a run for the playoffs.

Since being drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2008, he has served nine NHL organizations. At 6 feet two and 225 pounds, the former first-round draft pick 5th overall uses his size to develop a defense-first style. Teams will certainly look at him if they are looking for a player that can provide hard minutes against top players. His contract is only $850,000 and he is in the final year of his contract.
However, David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, feels that Schenn will not cost a high first or second-round draft choice as mentioned in the rumors.
In light of the Flyers' recent surge and rise in the standings, should the Flyers consider Schenn again and perhaps offer the Canucks a fourth or fifth-round pick in exchange?
