In 1993 the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League started a special tradition that's going strong all over North America, and that's the Teddy Bear Toss Game.

On a specific night when the home team scores it's first goal, fans would litter the ice with teddy bears and other stuffed animals. Which would all go to children throughout various charities and hospitals.
However, during last night's game between the Hershey Bears and the Bridgeport Islanders of the American Hockey League, fans lost their patience during the game, with the Bears losing 2-0 fans decided to take things in their own hands and decided to toss the bears on the ice.
There was only 5 seconds left on the clock, so the officials decided to just end the game. This obviously wasn't the way the Bears or their fans wanted this game to go, but either way the bears will get to the children, so that's still a win in my books.
