The New York islanders have traded for Bo Horvat from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for forward Anthony Beauvilier, Aatu Raty and a 2023 conditional first round draft pick. This marks the biggest deal so far of 2023, and the biggest deal of the season by far.
The Vancouver Canucks were left in a brutal spot after offering JT Miller a huge contract, leaving them no money to give to one of their most passionate players, Bo Horvat. At 27 years of age, Horvat has 54 points in 49-games this season, 31 out of his 54 points being goals which is quite insane.

Oddly enough we were not filled in on the full details, the Canucks actually are retaining 25% of Horvat's salary, making this deal look even better for the Islanders.
