Referee at the Olympics took a rough slash to the face during Canada-USA game

During the Canada-USA game at the Olympics, last night, referee Cianna Lieffers took an accidental slash to the face from USA forward Amanda Kessel.

She went back to the locker room to be treated, as she was deeply cut above the lip, before going back on the ice with a bandage like nothing happened.

We often say that hockey players are made tough, but like we just saw, referees are as tough!
