Referees from yesterday's game were dishonest with Mike Yeo

The Philadelphia Flyers snapped a 6-game losing streak last night by winning their game 6-3 against the Montreal Canadiens.

This win pretty much guarantees that the Flyers will finish between the 28th and 30th place in the overall standings.

As you probably know, there was a big controversy on Montreal's first goal. Brendan Gallagher made a hand pass to his teammate Mike Hoffman, who had just to put the puck in a vacant net to score.

So, the question is : why wasn't it challenged by Mike Yeo? The official told him that this sequence wasn't reviewable, even if it was, under the "play stoppage" rule implemented after the Karlsson goal during the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs series between the San Jose Sharks and the St. Louis Blues.

It's honestly embarrassing. After the game, Mike Yeo told reporters that he just didn't want to go back to this sequence. And he's right. What's done is done, but the referees should know the rules of the game.

Imagine if it was a playoff game?
