The Philadelphia Flyers continue to take a long look at their roster and decide who will be shipped out during the deadline.

We learned that general manager Chuck Fletcher has identified four key players that he's not willing to move and instead plans to build around.
Sean Couturier, KevinHayes, Joel Farabee and Ryan Ellis are Fletcher's core group of players moving forward and untouchable.
That leaves a pretty big chunk of the roster available for trade.

That includes Travis Konecny.
According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, the Flyers were very close to trading Konecny last offseason but decided to keep him around as they thought they were contenders.
With the Flyers far from a playoff spot Konecny is on his way out.
Pagnotta adds that Konecny will likely be part of a package trade that will help bring the Flyers key pieces for their rebuild.
The 24 year old carries anAAV of $5.5million and is signed through the 2024-25 season.
He's got 24 points in 42 games this season which includes 7 goals.
Are you ready to move on from Konecny?
