SURPRISE: Flyers draft Cutter Gauthier 5th overall

The Philadelphia Flyers have taken Cutter Gauthier from the USNDP with the fifth overall selection.

Gauthier becomes the second US born player selected after Logan Cooley. He will be attending Boston College where the tall smooth skating winger will play center. Many analysts have him with the best release in the draft.

The 6'3 player had 19 goals are 22 games with the USNDP last year. He fits the Flyers mold completely!
