Hockey fans in general, not just Edmonton Oilers supporters, held their breath for a significant portion of tonight's Edmonton Oilers vs. Pittsburgh Penguins game.
Connor McDavid, perhaps the finest player in the whole NHL, crashed hard into the goalpost. Early in his career, McDavid was involved in a similar crash that left him with a serious injury that required months of recovery time and cracked his collarbone.
