If there's one thing we can all agree on it's that hockey is a dangerous sport. The amount of injuries reported are quite high and there are many injuries suffered throughout the season that are private.
At La Place Bell an unfortunate hit occurred to Xavier Simoneau's face when defending his territory. His teammate Joel Teasdale accidentally struck Simoneau. The medical team rushed on ice and took him off by stretcher, after several minutes of laying on ice.
We hope everything works in Simoneau's favor and that the stretcher was only a precautionary measure and released to be on ice soon.
