Should the Flyers interview this former Rangers head coach?

David Quinn was fired last year after the Rangers missed the playoffs. The organization was ready to move on and become a contender. Things went pretty well for them, as they are currently in the second round of the playoffs.

However, Quinn did pretty well during his tenure. Of course, they only played 3 postseason games while he was behind the team's bench, but his main task was to develop the younger players.

The Flyers are a bit in the same situation than the Rangers 3 years ago : some young guys are coming up and they'll need someone to help them develop well. In that way, Quinn could be a good candidate.

But the main problem is that the Flyers want to be competitive next year and make the playoffs. That's why they will probably go for a guy like John Tortorella or Barry Trotz.
