Sidney Crosby Breaks Silence and Reveals Where He Wants to Play in His Future

The end of the Pittsburgh Penguins season with an uneventful loss to a tanking Columbus Blue Jackets. Teams conduct exit interviews typically the day after the end of the regular season.

As lockers were cleaned out and players were able to share their viewpoints of the season, the team, and the staff, the media talked to long-time Penguin Sidney Crosby about his plans.
When asked about his long-term plans with the team he was drafted by without question stated his loyalty to the team, despite the losing season.

When asked if he wanted to finish his career in Pittsburgh, Crosby said: "I'd love to. That's been the case since Day 1. I feel really fortunate to have been drafted here. I have great memories. I've got to play with two teammates specifically for a really long time - so I'd love that to be the case."

Which says a lot about the organization and the roots he's built here. The Fenway Sports Group has done some house cleaning recently after firing Brian Burke, Ron Hextall, and Chris Pryor.
Sidney Crosby did all he could to keep the Penguins in the playoffs, but one man alone cannot will a team forward.
For the Flyers, they should relish in the fact that they're both bottom dwellers now, and with Briere in charge all they can move is up from here.
