That doesn't happen often! In fact, I don't think that I saw something similar ever...

Last night, the Carolina Hurricanes hosted the Montreal Canadiens. Several miles up north, the New York Islanders were playing against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
In the game between the Canadiens and the Hurricanes, Sebastian Aho opened the scoring at 7:14:40 pm ET. In the match opposing the Islanders and the Blue Jackets, the other Sebastian Aho, who is a defenseman for the Isles, also scored the first goal of the game...at 7:15:14 pm ET.
Two players with the same name scored the first goal for their respective team with 34 seconds of difference. That's wild!
