Yeo out, Quenneville in?

Hopefully for the team, there are a lot of good coaches on the market. Some people talked about Rick Tocchet, who would be an extremely good fit in Philadelphia. He knows the market extremely well as he was drafted by the Flyers during his playing career.

However, there is another name that could be interesting, according to Sam Carchidi: Joel Quenneville. He has an incredible pedigree and had success as a head coach everywhere he went.

Only problem? He stepped down as the Panthers head coach because of his involvement in the Kyle Beach sexual scandal in 2010 when he was the Blackhawks head coach.

Bettman said that if Quenneville wanted to return back in the NHL, he will have to meet him «to determine the appropriate conditions under which such new employment might take place.»

As a head coach, Quenneville only missed the playoffs twice in 22 full seasons.
