Today we are honouring Pelle Lindbergh, and Flyers legend Kimmo Timonen. This career summary is brought to you by BR Philadelphia, now, let's take a look at his best moments in Philadelphia.
No great Flyers actually wore any jerseys from No. 38 to No. 43; not for any great length of time, at least. Those numbers have mainly been reversed for minor league call-ups, mercenary journeyman on rental and Bob Esche, so we'll skip ahead to see at No. 44.
Timonen came to the Flyers at a time when the team was the worst in the NHL. Acquired by Paul Holmgren along with his teammate Scott Hartnell from Nashville just before the free agency period of 2007 started, Timonen, along with Hartnell, Scottie Upshall, free agent Big Fish Danny Briere, Jason Smith and Marty Biron helped turn the team around from their worst season in franchise history in 2006-07.
