Team Sweden's Hockey Program Just Made A Huge Announcement

We have been treated to some amazing International hockey this summer with the World under 18 Hockey Championships, World Junior Hockey Championships, and now with the Women's World Hockey Championships.

There has been some notable teams missing from these tournaments with the International Ice Hockey Federation not allowing Countries Russia or Belarus to participate in any fashion due to Russians invasion on the country of Ukraine.
Sweden has also decided to cut ties with Russia Today as they announcedthat any Swedish born player that is currently or intending to play hockey in Russia or Belarus will NOT be allowed to represent their country in any fashion in International tournaments.

The NHL has cut ties with the Russia kind of but the Canadian Hockey League will no longer allow teams in the OHL, QMJHL, or WHL draft players in the import draft from Russia and aswell as people have ask the NHL to ban Russian players from playing in the NHL but NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman has denied that request.
Former NHL Legend Dominik Hasek has criticized the League for not doing more on especially to Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin who's very close to the Russian President.
